"More than just a Gîte"
At Mas Saint-Antoine we try and make our offer "more than just a gîte". As such, we offer help with the following:
Local Information 
We live on site and are always around to answer your questions, offer you assistance and share our knowledge of the region. Every gîte is provided with an information pack in which (as well as describing life at the Mas) we have gathered information about local attractions, markets and recommended restaurants. (We'll even help with reservations, if you need it.)
B&B
During low and mid-season periods when some of our Gites are unoccupied we use it as a base for B&B accommodation at E65 to E90 per room per night. If you are interested, please contact us to check availability. Please note that we are unable to offer this option during the months June to September.
Kitchen Starter and Meal Packages
Many people arrive tired and/or late at the Mas Saint Antoine after a full days travelling and don’t want to face going out again shopping. Whilst we try and leave a few bits and pieces in each gîte as we prepare it for your arrival - maybe a little washing up liquid and some coffee if any has been left by its previous occupants – we can offer a “shopping or light meal service” – if you like to know more please ask for details.
Pizza Nights beside the Pool:
Pizza Nights are informal evenings offering our guests a chance to get
to know others staying at Mas Saint-Antoine. We have our own pizza oven where we get together and everybody has a go at making their own pizza. Its also a good chance to get to know us better as we are on hand all night to help make and cook as many pizzas as you wish.
Provencal Dining under the Plane tree:
Not everybody wants to eat out or cook by themselves every night. In season, we offer you the experience of dining under the plane tree in front of the owners' residence for a truely Provencal experience. It will normally be on Friday night to help you cap off your stay with us.
Boule Court :
We have a Boule Court behind the Pool House Studio. The Boules are all supplied. You are welcome to use the court anytime by yourselves or to challenge the other guests to a game.
Cycling:
We can arrange cycle hire with a very helpful local company who deliver bikes directly to Mas Saint Antoine. Everybody who has hired from them has been very happy both with the quality of the service and bicycles that they provide. 2008 prices for hire ranged from 19 € for a day to 72€ for a week and 112 € for a fortnight. If you wish cycle hire to be arranged in advance of your visit, please provide details of your height, the type of bicycle that you require and the duration for which you want it or contact them directly at www.telecycles-location.com
. They can also offer you maps of the cycling routes around our immediate area.
Babies and Small Children:
A Highchair, cots and booster seats are available at no extra cost. We do suggest that you let us know if you require any of these at the time of your booking so they can be reserved. We also have a small selection of toys and buckets and spades for your trip to the beach.
Book Exchange:
In each of the Gites we offer a variety of books mainly left behind from previous guests. You are welcome to exchange the book that you bring with you. We also have a selection of magazines at the pool which is constantly being updated as new guests arrive and add to it.
TV and DVDs:
For those cooler evenings in the off season we have a large selection of DVD’s and players available at no extra cost. These can be booked on arrival.
Wine Tours:
We can help plan your day if you would like to self drive or if you want to be driven we can arrange with a tour operator who has been in the wine industry for over 25 years.

Or if you are looking for something more relaxing ask us about one of our favourite vineyards where you can do a very informative tour of the vineyard from the planting to bottling ending in the all important wine sampling. And why not stay and enjoy a wonderful picnic at one of the various tables amongst the vineyard with stunning views over Mt Ventox. It comes very highly recommended by all guests who have been.
Historical and Cultural Tours:
Wanting to make the most of your time here and to taste the best of Provence with the help of a tour guide. Marlene Boyer, born and raised in Avignon with over 10 years experience has a variety of tours she can offer covering things like the Lavender Route to Van Gogh and the Alpilles or she can taylor make a tour to suit your requirements. Bookings can be made prior to your arrival or after you arrive, please ask for further details.
The French Language:
Interested in learning French or brushing up on what you already know then we can provide you with details of a local French teacher. Please ask for further details.
Special get away breaks:
Off season, from October to April inclusively, you can choose shorter stays in self-catered accommodation. We can arrange a variety of packages for you based on B&B prices. Historical, cultural or wine tours can also be arranged as well as. So why not indulge yourselves and let us entertain you for a few days of R&R? Prices start at E65 per night depending on your requirements. Please email us for further details.
Shuttle Service:
Airports – We are 15 minutes from Avignon and 45 minutes for either Nimes or Marseille. Rental cars are available at all airports but we can arrange collection to and from any airport if required.
TGV – We are 10 minutes from Avignon TGV station and 10-15 minutes from the Avignon City Train station. Rental cars are available or we can arrange collection to and from any station if required.
Prices on request and bookings can be made up until the day before you arrive.
Communications:
Wi-fi is available if you bring your own laptop/blackberry. We can also provide a list of local internet café’s near by.
